Beyond the Basics: what is health?

Health is not what is deliberated between people. Health is a huge science. It’s not merely only about a diet to follow for 3 months or less to lose weight, and its health is not limited to the absence of disease. Conversely, it is way beyond that. By the way, one of the reasons for me starting a blog is to change these perspectives about nutrition and health. Health is about knowing how to respond to any sign that your body sends, ability to understand, interact, react and live… it is a dynamic interplay of physical, mental, and social well-being. And then, just then, you can achieve happiness and wellbeing.

The food you consume plays a crucial role in, not just,  determining your health state but even your mood, energy levels and cognitive functions. Those amazing chemicals within, interact with our body’s chemicals in a fascinating way…Therefore,  Incorporating a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, enough proteins, and healthy fats is crucial to reach optimal health. Choosing nutrient-dense foods is not just about fueling our bodies; it’s a conscious investment in our overall happiness, providing the essential building blocks for a life imbued with vitality and joy.

Nutrition is a discipline that helps you love your body, understand its needs, and listen to its signs. It supports self-control. Nutrition helps you detoxify and clear out any toxins in your body. All which then ease your path to happiness 😀and by the way, it is never late… our great body has the ability to heal itself. Open the link to understand the true causes of diseases… it all started with giving our body the wrong conditions… But what if we changed these conditions? 🤔

Confronting Inactivity:

About 1 in every 3 women and 1 in every 4 men, do not engage in physical activity!!! Clearly, we live in a lazy world. And no wonder why the diseases are not getting treated… Engaging in regular physical activity releases endorphins, the body’s natural mood lifters. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a dance class, a session at the gym, a hike…find an activity you enjoy. The key is to make exercise a source of joy rather than a chore.

The Mind-Body Connection:

As everything is connected. Any changes you make in the physical aspect will be reflected in your mental state. Thats why we say: stay healthy, stay happy. Green vegetables, water, exercise have been in your routine, you will definitely notice clarity, positivity, happiness, and growth. It is when you shift to a mindset that embraces challenges as opportunities. This is when your stress levels decrease, and your body is better equipped to handle the ups and downs. Of course with the help of some techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, and deep breathing exercises. These practices can help you build resilience, improve focus, and enhance your overall emotional well-being.

Social Well-being:

Lastly, Human connections are vital for happiness and health. Cultivate strong, positive relationships with friends and family. Share experiences, laughter, and support, creating a network that contributes to your emotional well-being. I have read once, instinctively, humans are social. What makes some introverts shy… is the experiences… But again, life is about trying things out, and to be a better version of yourself, is not to lose and stop trying when your experience fails.

Conclusion

Us as human, we are exposed to numerous of toxins in daily basis. We do meet people with different mindsets, not necessarily healthy. We pass through hardships, and may live in unhealthy environment.

No need to worry….It is normal…:)…You just need to know how to deal with it. 1. TRUE Nutrition is natures medicine, and its shocking how much food today is processed and so far away from its natural state of being. I was mercury poisoned at 19 which made me very ill and bed bound at times, and was too ill and weak to exercise. This made me realise how important a clean diet was and a healthy positive mind.

    1. I’m sorry to hear about your experience with mercury poisoning, and I commend your resilience in recognizing the importance of a clean diet and a positive mindset for your overall health.
