Fetta Chicken Musakhan
Ingredients
- 3 small Chicken Breasts
- 1 big White Onion
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 cup Olive Oil
- 4 tbsp Sumac
- 4 tbsp Pine
- Parsley
- air fried Arabic Bread optional
- Spices: Salt, Pepper, Red Pepper, Ground Coriander, Cumin, Paprica
- 1 cup Tahini
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1/2 cup Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- Pomegranate
Instructions
- Boil the Chicken Breast in water, with Salt and Pepper
- Heat Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes. Add crushed Garlic cloves
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, slice the chicken breasts into thin strips.
- Add the chicken strips on the Onions and give a mix with the spices. Then add little of Chicken broth for extra taste
- Sprinkle Sumac over the onions and the chicken, mix well. Remove from heat and set aside.
- To prepare the sauce, in a mixing bowl, add tahini, yogurt, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic clove (optional), salt and pepper to taste. Give it a good mix
- To assemble the Fetta Chicken Musakhan, place an air fried arabic bread on a serving platter. Spread a layer of caramelized onions and chicken over.
- Add the sauce over, cover the chicken.
